Is it Possible to Achieve Greater Energy Through Massage?

Most people think of a massage as something to receive when they want to relax.  While it certainly is true that most individuals do feel more relaxed after a massage, it is possible to receive a sense of an overall greater level of energy through massage as well.

Consider a person who is going through a stressful period in their life.  They often will experience tight muscles, headaches, difficulty sleeping and perhaps even an overall sense of malaise.  It is certainly difficult to have a sense of well-being and a good energy level under these circumstances.  Often people turn to caffeine or perhaps even prescription drugs to find a way to feel better.  These methods might give an individual a temporary sense of increased energy, but unfortunately they are typically followed by a "crash and burn", leaving them even more tired and stressed.
